An ancient tool for modern times…
The Book of Bones derives its name as a play on words based on The Book of The Dead. The common pin tumbler lock was designed with Ancient Egyptian locks as it’s inspiration. We’ve gone back to the roots of modern locks for our naming. This compendium of lockpicks is comprised of lockpicks from Bare Bones Lock Picking. Hence the name, The Book of Bones. Each case comes with four lockpicks including a short hook, medium hook, a snake rake, and a middle finger deep hook for giving a real fuck you to those max lift pins.
The Ultimate Bifold Lockpick Case
Hand crafted from Italian leather and deerskin, the Book of Bones comes with four lockpicks from Bare Bones Lock Picking featuring an exclusive scale. Each case takes approximately ten hours to craft from start to finish.
The outer leather is of Italian origins from Tuscany with a grind finish. This finish is a little different from the typical Reaper Lockpick Kit, in that it is less glossy and more matte and soft to the touch. The dark black deerskin is a soft brushed suede, giving the inner lining an extra level of beauty and sophistication. The case is stitched together using an artificial black sinew, and the edges are a triple layer of Italian Jet Black acrylic with a final fourth layer of locally sourced bees wax.
Every punch, stitch, and cut is done by hand. The only machines used in the process of creating the Book of Bones is an electric edge creaser which is used to set the acrylic edges and bees wax seal.
This is a limited drop product. Only five will be available for purchase with only six having been made. They are stamped and serialized.

The Lockpicks
Each case will come with four lockpicks from Bare Bones Lock Picking. All of which are made from 20thou 301HY Stainless Steel. In addition to the four picks, it will also come with three top of keyway tension wrenches.
