If anyone taught you otherwise, they’re dead wrong. Sticky situations happen and you will want to be well equipped to deal with them.
Lawyer
You don’t need to be a deviant to need a Lawyer. Shit happens, man. One day you’re minding your own business painting rocks to look like Christopher Walkin, next thing you know your paint spills, an old lady slips, and now you’re on the hook for child support payments for your bastard rock painting accident of a son. Get a lawyer before you need one, or all those royalty cheques are going to be headed Mable’s way. Just sayin’. Not to mention, if you’re in a panic, you might land in the lap of a Saul Goodman who is going to take you to the cleaners.
Doctor
Look, if it isn’t bad enough Mable’s got ya by the money balls, you don’t want to be rushing to find a doctor last minute either. Maybe you finally decided to get the snip and you end up with Dr.Nick Riviera and a botched surgery. All jokes aside, you need to trust your medical professional, and you’ll want to know their credentials before something major.
Locksmith
The world of locksmithing is a dark and deceptive place. I wish it were not so, but unfortunately there are plenty of truck slammers out there ready to get ya when you’re locked out. Visit a local smith, talk to them for a bit. Find out their rates. Get their card or direct number. People lose their keys all the time, but you can avoid a hefty bill by being prepared.
