Insert key into the ignition and remove it β repeat this 6 times within 10 seconds.
Do not turn the key, just insert/remove quickly.
Hazard lights will flash twice, confirming entry into programming mode.
If not, try up to 10 insertions quickly.
Insert key and turn to ACC (accessory position).
Press any button on the first remote (within 5 seconds).
Hazards will flash once to confirm programming.
Repeat step 5 for up to 3 additional remotes (maximum 4).
Turn the key to OFF and remove to exit programming mode.
Unlock doors and test all remotes.
πΉ Notes
You must program all fobs during the same session.
If you wait too long between steps, the vehicle exits programming mode.
This procedure does not program transponder keys, only remotes.
πΉ Troubleshooting
Hazard lights didnβt flash? Repeat the 6β10 key insertions faster.
Remote unresponsive? Battery could be dead, or the model may not support DIY.
Still not working? Some luxury trims or Canadian models may require a scan tool.
